Description
The load on the drive wheels during cornering and acceleration is always different between the left and right. With a normal differential, the torque when the accelerator is on or off works to escape to the drive wheels with less weight. This makes it difficult to brake reliably while cornering or control the vehicle during acceleration. The L.S.D. detects the difference in the rotation speed and torque of the left and right wheels and restricts the differential function to reliably transmit traction to the road surface. In other words, the L.S.D. is a must-have for sports driving. Spoon uses an easy-to-use 1.5-way (1.75-way for AP1/2 only) mechanical type, and is also easy to assemble and maintain. The initial torque at the time of shipment is set to 9 to 9.5 kg (cold). Due to its structure, mechanical L.S.D.s may produce dragging noises from the drive wheels, operating noises of the internal gears, and vibration noises.
