In the recent progress of powertrains, when tuning the turbo engines that Honda has been increasingly adopting, we thought that turbo engines are naturally aspirated engines with excellent intake efficiency. This product was born from our idea that “guiding as much air as possible to the combustion chamber with less resistance is an important element for efficiently improving output,” which we learned from our experience in tuning many naturally aspirated engines.
This throttle body improves output by increasing the flow area and increasing the amount of intake air by enlarging the butterfly diameter.
In addition, by increasing the surface roughness inside the body and reducing the flow resistance, the flow rate of the intake air increases, improving response.
In addition, the intake layout of Honda cars is very excellent even for turbo engines, and in order to maximize its performance, this product is based on the standard throttle body, so no processing is required on the vehicle body.
